Dr. Jeffrey Luftig

These materials are derived from materials created by Dr. Jeffrey Luftig, one of the first people Dr. W. Edwards Deming hired to begin the American quality revolution at Ford Motor Company in the early 80's. Dr. Luftig started his own consulting firm in 1985 and consulted at numerous companies including Ford, ALCOA, Anheuser-Busch, Earthgrains, Molex, Inland Steel, and many others. During this time, Dr. Luftig and his consultants honed the materials to provide their clients training that had real-life applications with a strong technical base. He has held the W. Edwards Deming Professor of Management endowed chair at the Engineering Management Program at the University of Colorado and is now the Associate Vice Chancellor for Process Innovation.
